We have good news about the vote count at Members Project®: We won!

That’s right. Your votes have made us one of the charities that will receive $200,000 in funding from American Express through its Members Project initiative in its latest round of voting. The funding will help us fulfill our mission and create a world free of heart disease and stroke.
Thank you for casting your votes and making it possible for us to win this vital support!

The American Heart Association will use these funds to continue its passionate and relentless fight against the nation’s No. 1 and No. 3 killers – heart disease and stroke. As the country’s oldest and largest volunteer organization dedicated to fighting these diseases that strike millions of Americans, the American Heart Association saves lives through innovative research and far-reaching educational programs.

The association is the nation’s authority in CPR training, teaching millions of families, educators and healthcare professionals how to save lives in homes, workplaces and medical facilities. The American Heart Association funds breakthrough pediatric heart treatment for the thousands of babies born each year with heart defects, as well as national education and prevention programs targeting childhood obesity, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes and many other conditions.
